📢 United Way of Miami County Scholarship Opportunity – Now $1,000 Per Student!
United Way of Miami County is proud to support local students by doubling our scholarship awards! Recognizing the rising costs of education, we have increased our scholarship amount from $500 to $1,000 per student to provide greater financial assistance for those pursuing college, trade school, or other secondary education programs.
Scholarship Details:
✅ Three scholarships available – One for a senior from each Miami County high school
✅ Award Amount: $1,000 per student
✅ Who Can Apply? Graduating seniors from Miami County high schools
How to Apply:
📄 Write a 500-word MLA-formatted essay on how community service has impacted your life. Whether you’ve volunteered for an organization or received support from one, share how it shaped your perspective.
📅 Submit your essay by April 15 by emailing it to morgang@uwmiamip.org.
📌 Essays will be judged based on content, clarity, and grammar
